Handmade delicious dog biscuits - Made in Cornwall

What a week

What a week

It’s still early days for the business which might make you think that there isn’t much going on but this has been a hectic (& fun) week.

The biggest ‘To Do’ item for any business is deciding how to set yourself up – Sole Trader, Limited Company, Social Enterprise – i’ll save you the pain of reading about the ‘ums’ and ‘ahhs’ that i went through and skip to the end. I applied to Companies House to become a Limited Company and i’m pleased to say the paperwork is complete 🙂

Once I had a formal name, and one that i knew wouldn’t change, i set about making more of the fun items… business cards!! Of course the dogs had to feature on them so i decided to make three versions so that each doggie got their moment in the lights. They arrive tomorrow and i can’t wait.

Then i decided to attend a business start up event as they were offering training for small businesses and by god do i need training. Course it helped that the event was hosted at Jamie’s Fifteen restaurant overlooking Watergate Bay. I was served some delicious canapes and mocktails… this business malarkey is amazing! 🙂
